BS International UK-LB respects the privacy of its visitors, trainees, and accredited institutions. This page explains what data we collect, why, how we protect it, and your rights.

Who We Are (Data Controller)

This website is operated by BS INTERNATIONAL : UK - LB LTD — a company registered in the United Kingdom under No. 17259090, with a registration in Lebanon under No. 5014067, and its registered address shown in the site footer. We are the controller of your personal data; for privacy matters, contact us at the official email in the footer.

Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: sending the newsletter and marketing messages by email and WhatsApp — based on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Performance of a service/contract: processing accreditation and training requests and issuing certificates.
• Legal obligation and legitimate interest: documentation requirements with accreditation bodies, and site security and internal statistics.

Data We Collect

• Form data: name, contact details, and professional data you voluntarily enter when applying for accreditation or training.
• Accreditation documents: certificate images and numbers required for documentation and verification.
• WhatsApp conversations: messages exchanged with our official number to serve and follow up on your request.
• Limited visit data: the requested page and its time, browser type, and approximate country, for purely internal statistical purposes.

Why We Collect It

• Issuing and verifying certificates and accreditations.
• Responding to your inquiries and following up on your requests.
• Improving the site content and our training services.
• Complying with the documentation requirements of accreditation bodies.

Newsletter and Marketing (Email and WhatsApp)

When you subscribe through our forms we collect your name, email, and phone number, and we send you the newsletter and updates through the channel(s) you have explicitly consented to (email and/or WhatsApp). We do not pre-tick consent boxes on your behalf, and we do not message you on a channel you have not agreed to.

Withdrawing consent: You can stop the messages at any time — as easily as you gave consent — via the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email, or by messaging us to stop WhatsApp messages. Upon withdrawal we stop messaging immediately and keep a minimal record of your data on a "suppression list" only to ensure we do not contact you again.

International Data Transfers

Given our nature as a UK-Lebanese institution, your data may be processed by our team in the United Kingdom and Lebanon, and may be stored with a trusted hosting provider. For any transfer outside the United Kingdom, we apply appropriate safeguards to protect your data in accordance with the law.

AI Processing (Align AI Tool)

When you use the Align AI tool to design programs, the data you enter (program title, description, objectives, audience, and similar) is sent to external third-party AI service providers to generate the outputs, and their servers may be outside the United Kingdom (for example, the United States). We process this data solely to operate the tool and produce its outputs, and we rely on the data-processing terms and international-transfer safeguards these providers offer (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). We recommend not entering unnecessary sensitive personal data into the program fields.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site; our statistics are entirely internal and are not shared with any third party.

Limited data may be shared only when necessary with: partner accreditation bodies for documentation purposes, the hosting provider by virtue of operating the servers, or official authorities where legally required.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies to operate the site and secure administrative login sessions. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

Retention Period

Certificate and accreditation records are kept for their validity period and thereafter as documentation purposes require. Statistical visit data is kept for a limited period, then archived or deleted.

Newsletter/marketing list data is kept as long as you remain subscribed, and is removed from active lists when you unsubscribe (while keeping a minimal "suppression" trace to respect your wish).

Data Protection

We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), storage of sensitive files outside the site's public folder, administrative access controls including two-factor authentication and failed-attempt limiting, and periodic backups.

Your Rights

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data, insofar as it does not conflict with documentation obligations.
• Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
